Success / Development
How does one measure success?
That depends on the individual and what they see as being successfull in life. Everyone sets their own degree of success by setting higher or lower levels of accomplishment. Self accomplishment is a wonderful feeling like no other.
Success = degree of measure, or attainment of wealth. When you finish your goals, a feeling of self-accomplishment is the greatest feeling in the world.
Here are a few success quotes that I like from famous people:
"There are no gains without pains." - Benjamin Franklin
"Unless people believe they can produce desired effects by their actions, they have little incentive to act." - Albert Bandura
"The ideals which have lighted me on my way and time after time given me new courage to face life cheerfully, have been Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. The ordinary objects of human endeavor property, outward success, luxury have always seemed to me contemptible." - Albert Einstein
"To succeed... you need to find something to hold on to, something to motivate you, something to inspire you." - Tony Dorsett
"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to success is more important than any other one thing." - Abraham Lincoln
"The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack of will." - Vince Lambardi
"Unless you are willing to drench yourself in your work beyond the capacity of the average man, you are just not cut out for positions at the top." - J.C. Penny
"Genius is seldom recognized for what it is: a great capacity for hard work." - Henry Ford
"Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we often might win, by fearing to attempt." - Shakespeare
"The only limit to our realization of tomorrow will be our doubts of today." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
"If you don't know where you are going, you'll end up some place else." - Yogi Berra
